From the board / club breeding regulations.
No adjustment is needed for the VFR.
The Board can invoke Article 9.3 of the Final and Transitional Provisions for dispensation requests.
This says: In special cases, the association may deviate from this VFR in a decision regarding the admission of a certain combination if it serves the interests of the breed. A decision based on this paragraph is communicated to the members of the association, stating reasons.
The dispensation requests relate in particular to breeding animals born before 19 April 2009 and repeat combinations. The board applies the following rule: bitches born before 19 April 2009 may be used under the conditions of the old breeding regulations. These females will be out of breeding within 2 years (2017). After all, there is a limit of 5 litters per life of the bitch before her 8th year of life.
Males born before 19 April 2009, on the other hand, can be used for breeding for about 7 years longer and more often. (for example: a male born on 18 April 2009 is now 6 years old. He will be 13 in 7 years time.) That is why the board believes that these dogs must meet the VFR conditions.
In the board meeting of 29-4-2014, the board says it is benevolent for 5 x repeat combinations. Article 9.3 of the VFR gives the board the room to grant dispensation for this. Provided the breeders submit their dispensation request on time.
