Subject: ECVO studies.
Wageningen, 6 May 2020
Dear Sir / Madam,
Now that the corona crisis is under some control and the Cabinet is easing the rules, we also want to make the screening ECVO eye examination possible again from 11 May.
However, we will still have to take into account the rules, such as the extensive hygiene measures, keeping the 1.5 m distance and limiting the number of contacts.
This means that the ECVO eye examination will be conducted under certain conditions.
Depending on the spatial and human capabilities of the various clinics where the ECSR study is being conducted, the restrictive measures and the date the studies will resume may differ. The relevant clinic will inform you of these corona measures and restrictions.
You will understand that due to these measures we are not yet able to perform the “normal” number of ECVO eye exams. This means that we ask you to take a critical look at which eye examination is really necessary and which eye examination can still wait.
The better we make this cautious start, the faster we can possibly increase the number of ECVO eye exams again. Because we also hope to be of normal service to you as soon as possible.
We wish you a lot of strength in this time and stay healthy!
On behalf of the ECVO panel, sincerely,
R.R.O.M. van de Sandt
